more books!
Jun. 7th, 2007 08:52 pm15. I'm the One That I Want by Margaret Cho: I thought that it was a good book. She's got a good voice. It's a biography and it's real and it's sad. But look at her now.
The next two books I got for my nieces, but liked them so much that I got a copy for myself too.
16. First Book of Sushi by Amy Wilson Sanger: Super cute little kid's board book on sushi. The pictures are mainly paper cut outs.
17. Yum Yum Dim Sum by Amy Wilson Sanger: Super cute board book about dim sum with a glossary. The pictures are images of mixed media with paper cut outs, fabric, and actual porcelain spoon.
18. Ranma 1/2 vol. 36 by Rumiko Takahashi: The last in the series. I wish it had a more definite ending and didn't just "end".
19. Stitch 'N Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller: I love the fiber info, how-tos, stitch patterns, and full patterns. I'm definitely taking up crochet this summer.
20. Craftivity: 40 Projects for the DIY Lifestyle by Tsia Carson: Great craft book with tons of neat ideas. There's definitely a bunch that I want to try, like the crochet skull, flower broach, baby blankie, and moth embroidered sweater. I absolutely LOVE the pom pom rug! It has really clear pictures of knitting and crocheting too. I love the model's manicure.
