reading and reading
Oct. 27th, 2008 12:19 pmI succumbed to the temptation. Actually, I wanted to see the movie Twilight cause Robert Pattinson is in it, and he's a total hottie! And my BFFs were reading it, and my MIL left a copy at the house, so it was in the cards or something.
59. - 62. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer: Started out good, got really slow, got a little exciting, and then ended weak as hell. Why do I always end up reading books where I hate the main character? Seriously, Bella is crap. Meyer's writing is a little weak, predictable, and relies on Mormon cliches. It wasn't very gory for a vampire series, which was good for me. But it was a very fast read, each 500+ page book took me a day or two to read. So if you want to know what everyone else in the world is talking about, read it. If you aren't a teenage girl, read the wiki synopsis.
