1. Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain: Sleezy, greasy, lurid, and delicious. This was a really good book about the ins and outs of a professional kitchen. It was everything you didn't know you wanted to know about kitchens and the skanky men that work in them. I like Bourdain's writing style. He's point blank about everything.

2. Plum Lovin' by Janet Evanovich: In between the series book, so it's super short with hella big font. It's about Stephanie's Valentine's misadventures. It was funny.

3. The Bust Guide to The New Girl Order by Marcelle Karp and Debbie Stoller: A collection of essays from old Bust magazines. This was interesting. But because of the many different authors, the essays range from good to unreadable.

4. The Heart of the Buddha's Teachings by by Thich Nhat Hanh: I loved this book. Super interesting and it gave me a lot of new insight. I took it to heart.

5. Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero: It's like the quintessential vegan cookbook. Filled with Moskowitz and Romero's trademark jokes and comments. I can't wait to try some stuff out.

6. 2-at-a-time-socks by by Melissa Morgan-Oakes: I took a magic loop class ages ago, and this is the perfect reference book. There's tons of detailed pictures and interesting patterns. Plus it has a spiral binding! I love that it can just be opened and stay that way.

7. Still Angry Little Girls by Lela Lee: Funny cartoons about girl stereotypes.
