even more books!
Jun. 10th, 2007 07:33 pm21-24. Inuyasha vol. 26-29 by Rumiko Takahashi: The last battles with the Band of Seven and the Naraku's newest body.
25. Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt: This was one of those children's books that I never read growing, but found whilst I was pawing through my siblings' library. It's about a family with eternal life and a young girl that meets them. I thought that it was okay, maybe it would have been better had I read it as a child.
26. I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence By Amy Sedaris: This book was painfully hilarious. I laughed so hard. It got some mixed reviews because I don't think that people understood it. It's supposed to be a recipe book that's a play on 1960s kitsch. The recipes seem pretty good. I saw her make one on Martha. The pictures are so funny and there's a bunch of Amy. I like that she's not afraid to look ugly.
27. The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff: Cute little intro to Taoism.
28. Buddhism: Plain and Simple: By Steve Hagen: I liked it. It was a quick read and I would recommend it to anyone interested in getting started with or refreshing their study of buddhism.
