1. Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews: The Lifetime movie was coming out so I had to reread it. What can I say? It's something that practically every teenage girl I knew was secretly reading behind their parents back because it was so trashy and gross. Basically it's about 4 children being hidden in an attic for years by their mother and grandmother. The older girl is the narrator. It's cheesy, crazy, and trashy. Did I mention trashy?

2. Petals on the Wind by V.C. Andrews: Book 2 of the series. They escape from the attic and Cathy begins her life long path of making bad choices and revenge. It gets exponentially worse from there.

3. So Pretty It Hurts by Kate White: Latest adventure of Baily Weggins. She goes to a cabin upstate with a girl friend for a weekend with models and musicians. Murder ensues. Relationship problems. Job problems. It was pretty good!

4. Leading with Soul: An Uncommon Journey of Spirit by Lee G Bolman and Terrence E. Deal: I had to read this for class. Kinda corny.

I checked out a load of cookbooks from the library!

5. The Pioneer Woman Cooks Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl by Ree Drummond: Recipes seemed okay. You can tell the photography was not done by a professional. (she has improved a lot) But it seemed overly hokey to me. She talks about how she was from the city and went to school in LA, and settled in the country. But her idea of hometown being a "big city" is a skewed. Corny at times, but I think that's what she's going for.

6. World of Geekcraft: Step-by-Step Instructions for 25 Super-Cool Craft Projects by Susan Beal: Great book with super cute craft ideas! I loved the pow zap magnets. Oregon Trail cross stitch, Star Wars terrariums, Harry Potter baby costumes. The geek speak interviews were cool.

7. Weelicious: 140 Fast, Fresh, and Easy Recipes by Catherine McCord: Fun, yummy looking real recipes for kids. None of that hiding what's in the food to trick kids into eating it, but showing them fresh healthy flavors.

8. 100 Recipes Every Woman Should Know: Engagement Chicken and 99 Other Fabulous Dishes to Get You Everything You Want in Life by Cindi Leive: Recipes actually seemed super good. It's a fluffy book but some might not appreciate it's "man trapping" leanings. Food sounds good though!

9. The Homemade Pantry: 101 Foods You Can Stop Buying and Start Making by Alana Chernila: Lots of everyday store bought food recipes.
